Have you dreamed of living in a log home? Well our log home is for sale.
We bought our oceanfront property for the land itself. The log home on the property is very well made but unfortunately not suited to the location. We’re looking to rehome it to a new owner who will appreciate its craftsmanship and beauty as well as all the upgrades that we’ve done.
A picture's worth a thousand words....
The entrance is off the side deck. Please come in.
The mudroom is combined with the laundry room.
Just past the mudroom/laundry room, is the main floor bathroom with new large vanity, new toilet, bathtub shower combo and new flooring. The painted logs in this room really brighten the space.
The bathroom vanity has four large drawers.
Turning from the bathroom, you enter the open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The L shaped island provides extensive counterspace for preparing meals and entertaining. The stove is propane. New faucet and light fixtures.
The living area has the combination of log walls and painted paneling which gives it a fresh, relaxing vibe. The stairs on the right lead to the two upstairs bedrooms and bathroom.
The large picture window lets in lots of light. We enjoy the fireplace in the winter months.
The two french doors leading out to the deck.
With the french patio doors open wide, it truly is indoor/outdoor living.
The big window in the dining room brings in the views.
The dining area has space for a buffet and dining table.
Plenty of space in the dining area.
Completing our tour of the first floor is this bedroom with multiple closets. The posts and beams throughout the house are spectacular.
At the top of the stairs, you’ll find this bathroom with linen shelving. New vanity, mirror, toilet, flooring and shower head.
The master bedroom has plenty of space for either a Queen or King sized bed.
The master has its own private deck.
Lots of room for furniture in the master, even with the sloped ceilings.
The second bedroom upstairs is across the hall on the other side of the bathroom.
The second upstairs bedroom is large enough to be an office/guest room.
All the bedrooms are spacious.
We like to call our log home, “the beach chalet” due to the scalloped trim and location.
The house currently sits on a full height basement. You just need a foundation and you’re ready to move in!
The deck acts as a second living/dining area.
why buy our log home?
If you’ve got a piece of vacant property or perhaps a large acreage with space for a second home, our beach chalet is perfect for you. And apart from a solidly built log home at a fraction of the price of new, you’ll be doing your part for the environment by upcycling the house. With its quality construction of Western Red Cedar logs, this home can’t be matched. With the upgrades that we’ve done, The Beach Chalet will make a wonderful vacation or full time home on your property.
