While they’re commonly referred to as services, I actually like to think of what I offer as solutions.

My knowledge, expertise and creativity, along with a proven and enjoyable collaborative process, result in a beautiful home that reflects how you want to feel and live in your home. You’ll love showing it off to family and friends.

From a simple two hour in home consultation to address your design dilemmas to help picking out materials that are going in to your new home build to updating a room or furnishing a vacation rental or a full home renovation, my interior design services are always tailored to your needs and style.

Working within the Qualicum Beach, Comox Valley and Campbell River areas (and all points in between) in person. Alternatively, I can work with you remotely through virtual design.

Two Hour colour and/or design Consultation

You love interior decorating but you just need a bit of direction. In this two hour consultation, I will:

Answer your design questions
Suggest paint colours
Resolve design dilemmas (within reason in two hours)
Propose improved furniture placement with floor plan options
Provide a follow-up email detailing our discussion which may include a few Design Concept Boards
Provide large paint samples for your consideration

Investment: $350

Please note that if two hours just isn’t enough time, you can purchase additional hours.

Interiors Selection Package

So many decisions have to be made when building your dream home, to the point where it becomes truly overwhelming. However, the more of those decisions that are made before construction begins, the less hiccups and headaches during construction.

Interiors Selection Package includes:

Design Concept Development including mood boards to show the design inspiration and direction
Preliminary selection of fixtures, finishes, colour palette and materials for review at Design Meeting. Both a virtual Design Concept Board and Samples provided.
Comprehensive list of selections (Specifications Package) required for the project for ease of budgeting, take-offs by contractor and procurement, including:
- Flooring
- Appliances
- Counters and backsplash
- Millwork including baseboards, trim and crown moulding
- Plumbing fixtures
- Cabinet Hardware
- Lighting fixtures
- Paint Colours

Investment starting at $1250 depending on square footage

Initial consultation and measuring
Concept development including Design Concept Boards showing the proposed look and feel
Floor Plans showing furniture layout
Elevation drawings showing built-in millwork design
Sourcing of all furniture, fixtures, art, accessories and decor, often through Trade Only sources for a one of a kind look
Procurement, installation and styling

I ensure that there is repetition, harmony and flow with all the furniture and decor, not only working together in one room but also referencing with other rooms in your home.

Full Service custom design

The Full Service Design option is best when remodelling a significant portion of your home. With a proven process, I’ll design your renovation from top to bottom and all points in-between.

Initial Two Hour Design Consultation including full questionnaire
Design Fee Presentation outlining full scope and key deliverables
Professional Measuring of Space
Preliminary Design Concept Development and Review to present the design inspiration and direction – this includes drawings to show preliminary floor plans highlighting flow and function and key features
Design Development including realistic 3D Renderings showing all proposed materials and 3D Video Walk Throughs, along with samples of proposed materials
Selections and sourcing of all materials (known as the Specifications Package) including a detailed spreadsheet used by your contrator for budgeting, take-offs and procurement
Drawings Package including a full set of scaled design plans and elevations, materials, millwork, cabinetry, electrical and lighting plans to clearly communicate the design direction to the contractor.

While I am an Interior Designer, I’m finding that more and more clients need help giving their exterior a new look to suit their revamped interior, so I’ve branched out into designing exteriors.

This package includes:

Concept development and style direction
Realistic 3D renderings to visualize proposed materials, colours and details
Specification document for ordering and procurement
Elevations to clearly note all material locations and details required for construction

Investment: starting at $800

New deck, entrance, round vent, arbour over garage, brick replaced by shingles and paint selection.

Jane helped us turn our dated 20 year old house into a beautiful, modern seaside home.
She paired her vision with ours and with her vast knowledge of design and products came up with a workable plan. The software program she uses was invaluable in showing us the many different ways that the house could be transformed.
Jane was often available at a moment’s notice to help with issues that arose during construction.
